Description

Clavascidium er en gruppe af laver, der danner små, skællignende strukturer på jordoverflader. De er særligt tilpasset tørre og halvtørre miljøer og spiller en afgørende rolle i stabilisering af jord og forebyggelse af erosion. Disse laver kan overleve lange perioder med tørke ved at gå i dvale og hurtigt genaktivere, når der er fugt tilgængelig.
