Description

Calycina er små, skålformede svampe, der findes på nedbrydningsmateriale fra planter. De har glatte, voksagtige overflader og findes i forskellige farver som hvid, gul eller pink. Nogle arter har små hår på deres ydre overflade. Calycina spiller en rolle i nedbrydningsprocesser i skovøkosystemer. De bliver ofte fundet på faldne grene eller døde urteagtige stængler.
