Acacia rust is a disease afflicting Acacias and other plants from the Fabaceae family, caused by the microcyclic rust fungus Uromycladium tepperianum. The disease can kill the host plant, and causes bulbous galls on leaves, branches, and fruits. It can cause serious problems for the cultivation of acacia bark. Acacia rust spreads through the wind and is currently limited to Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia.
