Description
A small and nondescript mushroom, Arrhenia epichysium (listed in some guides as Omphalina epichysium), can be found fruiting on fallen logs across temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. Arrhenia epichysium has a dull grey or brownish cap that is usually flat or upturned; it also has pale gills and a pale, spindly stalk.
