Fruiting body medium sized; tough, woody bodies.
Cap
Cap 1-7 cm across, semicircular, fan-shaped, sometimes like a funnel; variously zoned in shades of yellow, ocher, orange, brown, dark red, or gray, often green-tinted by algae; surface smooth. Flesh thin, tough. Odour and taste not distinctive.
Under surface
Undersurface whitish to grayish or pale reddish brown.
